PLSDF unites with Australian government, accademics and captains of industry in response to the global SOS for affordable, environmentally friendly housing. In 2006 Mr Little recognised how crucial sustainability would be to our futures, so he founded PLSDF to ensure we remain focused on our inter-generational responsibilities. At that time the principals of sustainable design were thought of as idealistic, but now as we face economic, climate and oil constraints the intrest in sustainability has forged it into mainstream ideology.

The Solar Decathlon prototype is PLSDFs tangible solution to the housing crisis. As the name implies, PLSDFs Solardecathlon prototype features more than ten sustainable design and technology features combined to create a house that is easily transported and customised. The house is affordable, very livable and nurtures the collective vision of sustainable living. It is hoped this initiative will encourage leaders to embrace the shift nessecary to ensure a promising world for future generations.

Mr Little is an engaging key-note speaker. Proposing sustainable housing and ideology since the seventies, Mr Little has decades of entertaining antics to share alongside his vision, insight and practical knowledge about sustainable housing, design and integration.
